I've enjoyed 2K for decades, but largely offline. Not that I am not good enough to win against anybody, but the people that I play are normally just the worst. Pausing taking advantage of the glitches in NBA 2K, not coming close to playing with basketball. It's not enjoyable, even winning NBA 2K! And since I started myteam Buy NBA 2K21 Coins, it's just gotten worse. Unlimited is pretty much unplayable as far as a basketball moves, and the auction house is one. The greed that drives NBA 2K is, even while unsurprising, pretty unsatisfactory.
I believe this mode provides you the ability to play as a bunch of different cards and construct really awesome teams to see how they play together, sort of enjoying the"what ifs" of basketball history. But it turns into a damn gambling site to try and farm coins. Maybe I'm expecting too much, maybe it's more of a layout dilemma, idk. I think NBA 2K would be enjoyable when there were cards available to use and love, rather than everybody trying to one up each other and be worried about just how much in game currency they make.
Ridiculous? Yes. Toxic? No. That is how it's always been. This year costs have definitely been greater. However, it's been easier than any year to get MT. Not to mention all of the offline articles for adequate cards. Some of those spotlight SIM cards are still"meta" and usable. It is basic supply and demand. Rashard Lewis for instance, rarest card in the place for the card at NBA 2K. Obviously the cost will be mad. Unless he's in packs that are super, there's generally less than 10 in the AH. Supply/demand that is Standard, if you can't afford it then it is what it is.
I understand supply and demand, I am saying because a million mt for a single card is too far, it is toxic because its spending money to find these cards. This is a game, not life? Like idk why we are treating this like a real life market. Children play with this, and at a certain point, someone should recognize that these rates are out of hand. The difficulty us the cards are cost fixed ( that I would consider poisonous, which can be poisonous in real life) or there is not enough supply, which in this point in NBA 2K lifespan is barely acceptable. I love the challenges and the material of NBA 2K, but the auction house has gotten to a place where it is absurd. I have other things than to grind a thousand games to make enough to purchase 1 card.
Since it operates like the basketball card hobby it is treated like one. I completely agree with you especially. In addition, I don't know the AH is obstructed in some countries but buying packs is not. On the players finish, that is not necessarily as for the price adjusting. It's allegedly these MT broker websites which farm a ton of NBA 2K MT to artificially raise the price of a card(s). It is only a flaw in 2K's system and there is nothing 2K. It's not basketball. Like I don't know fretting about costs and shit and sitting. People that are like post here about Snipes.
